Performance and TowingThe new Jeep Gladiator can be equipped with either a 3.6-liter V6 gasoline engine or a 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine. to keep its wheels turning. The standard 3.6-liter V6 engine is capable of producing up to 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. The 3.0-liter V6 engine produces 260 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed manual transmission and an eight-speed automatic transmission are both available for the new Jeep Gladiator. When the Jeep truck is equipped with its optimal towing features, it can tow up to 7,650 pounds.
