A decision that has generated quite a bit of buzz is dropping the V8 HEMI engine from the lineup. The Hurricane engine will take its place. It’s a twin-turbocharged inline six-cylinder that will not only provide more output but will do it in a more fuel-efficient manner. Another notable update is the new Tungsten trim level. It’s a luxe trim that includes features beyond what you can currently get with the Limited Longhorn and Limited. Those features include premium leather upholstery, a 23-speaker Klipsch audio system, and dual wireless chargers. Ram’s 12-inch infotainment touchscreen is also becoming standard equipment, and our customers will have the option of a new 14.5-inch touchscreen and a 10.3-inch passenger-oriented touchscreen.
